Supported Living Service Manager - Merseyside

Service Manager – Up to £40,000 per annum – 40 hours per week 

We are recruiting a Service Manager for our Supported Living services in Merseyside to assist the Registered Manager to plan and develop services and to formulate the appropriate strategies and procedures. As the Service Manager you will have day to day responsibility for the management of approximately 300 staff to ensure the delivery of person-centered support services provided to adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex care needs in their own supported tenancies.

You will be managing approximately 10,000 hours of Supported Living Services across the length and breadth of Merseyside and you will be registered with the Care Quality Commission as the Registered Manager.  The service is constantly expanding and you will be responsible for developing the business in your area.

We are looking for a Service Manager who:

  • Experienced at managing Supported Living services
  • Holds a QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or committed to working towards
  • Ability to manage dispersed teams
  • Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
  • Broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
  • Maintain accurate and clear records
  • Experience of managing budgets/finances
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders including commissioners, health professionals, social care professionals, circles of support of people we support etc
  • IT Literate
