Fantastic New Supported Living Service Coming To Bournemouth!

Supported Living Project Manager - Bournemouth - £26,000 per annum – 40 hours per week 

This is a great opportunity to be part of a new and exciting Supported Living Service opening in Bournemouth delivery of around 500 hours per week of person-centred support services for adults with learning disabilities and autism in their own home.

Being Project Manager is a challenging and busy role where no two days are the same, which brings with it a huge sense of fulfilment. A fundamental part of the role will be acting as a positive role model by providing ‘hands on’ support as required and promoting the wellbeing of people we support in all that you do. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Manager in maintaining the operation of the service in compliance with all relevant legislation and the Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all support staff are aware of and adhere to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures
  • Recruit, train and motivate the specified number of staff to the required level of qualification and experience to satisfy the relevant authority guidelines
  • Manage, supervise and support on a regular basis and in efficient and effective manner all support staff
  • Identify the training and development needs of all support staff
  • Ensure all the people we support have working person centred support plans, that are reviewed and updated regularly with the people they support and their circle of support
  • Effectively monitor the service delivery, monitoring all daily recording, medication recording, incident and accident reports and investigating accordingly
  • Complete audits as required as well as being part of the on call rota for the service and cover shifts in case of emergency

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ/ Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience of supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and / or Autism in their own home
  • A broad knowledge of the requirements of vulnerable adults and those with complex needs
  • Ability to manage support teams
  • Knowledge of person centred planning
  • Ability to maintain accurate and clear records
  • Knowledge of local safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation
  • Car owner/driver
