We are looking for fun and passionate support workers to join us at Eilat, our service in Charminster, Dorset. At Eilat, we support 6 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries.
Eilat provides a comprehensive physical and psychological recovery programme, for adults with complex care needs. This service supports individuals with long term neurological conditions, acquired or traumatic brain injury or other related conditions. We provide focused and goal directed rehabilitation within a group setting. Person centred planning and approaches are central to our service delivery and everyone we support is fully involved. Everyone living here plays a large part in the development of the service, how it looks, how it feels and how it operates.
Our staff will encourage and motivate people without compromising their privacy or dignity and enable them to increase their own levels of independence. Each person living at Eilat has differing activities and routines which are individual to their personal aspirations and choices.
Our Shift Leader roles are immensely rewarding and enjoyable. Every person we support is unique and is supported in their daily lives as they wish, so no two days will be the same. This may include budgeting, shopping, fun days out, as well as assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends and be active in their community. You will also be an allocated as a Key Worker to one of the individuals we support.
We provide an excellent induction and a sector leading training programme as well as supporting you through your next QCF in Health and Social Care. To be a Shift Leader with us, you will need your NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care as well as a passion for enabling people to live fun and fulfilled lives.
