Registered Home Manager - WSC

Registered Home Manager - £30,000 per annum – 37.5 hours per week 

At Woodside Cottage we support up to 8 people who, in addition to their Learning Disability, have additional support needs associated with Autism, an Acquired Brain Injury, complex health needs or physical disabilities. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We support people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives. We encourage everybody to have a voice about what matters in their lives and our support is focussed on ensuring that their voice is heard about every aspect of their lives. Individuals are supported to engage in their local community and to learn and practice new skills in a supported environment, our staff are our heroes and they need a leader!

We are looking for a Home Manger who:

  • Experienced as a Registered Home Manager
  • Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
  • Has broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
  • Demonstrates positive values
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
  • Must holds a QCF 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
