Registered Home Manager - BL

Registered Home Manager - £32,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience – 37.5 hours per week 

Byron Lodge supports up to 14 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries, as well as support with everyday living skills like shopping, cleaning and cooking our staff support people to have fun and make every day the best it can be for each person. Byron Lodge is a community based Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Service in Manchester. The service is designed to enable individuals to relearn skills, in a positive, empowering environment fully integrated into the community.

The service comprises of twelve individual apartments, and two en-suite rooms, which can be adapted to meet the physical needs of the person. The modern apartment style enables everyone to have their own space, to practise independent life skills and offers a more natural environment to support the rehabilitation process.

We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual’s specific needs. Through our outcomes focused approach, we support people to maintain choice and control of their own lives, our staff are our heroes and they need a leader!

We are looking for a Registered Manger who:

  • Experienced as a Registered Home Manager
  • Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
  • Has broad experience of managing people, service and quality within an Acquired Brain Injury setting
  • Demonstrates positive values
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
  • Must holds a QCF 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
