Project Manager - IOW

Project Manager (Supported Living) – full time – up to £26,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Supported Living service on the Isle of Wight as a Project Manager. This is a key role in the business as you will be responsible for the management of person centred support services being provided to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex mental health needs within their own home.

Being Project Manager is a challenging and busy role where no two days are the same, which brings with it a huge sense of fulfilment. A fundamental part of the role will be acting as a positive role model by providing ‘hands on’ support as required and promoting the wellbeing of people we support in all that you do. Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist the Service Manager in maintaining the operation of the service in compliance with all relevant legislation and the Company policies and procedures
•    Ensure all support staff are aware of and adhere to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures
•    Recruit, train and motivate the specified number of staff to the required level of qualification and experience to satisfy the relevant authority guidelines
•    Manage, supervise and support on a regular basis and in efficient and effective manner all support staff
•    Identify the training and development needs of all support staff
•    Ensure all the people we support have working person centred support plans, that are reviewed and updated regularly with the people they support and their circle of support
•    Effectively monitor the service delivery, monitoring all daily recording, medication recording, incident and accident reports and investigating accordingly
•    Complete audits as required as well as being part of the on call rota for the service and cover shifts in case of emergency

Essential Requirements:
•    NVQ/ Diploma level 3
•    Previous experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities in their own home
•    A broad knowledge of the requirements of Vulnerable adults and those with complex needs
•    Knowledge of person centred planning
•    Ability to manage support teams
•    Ability to maintain accurate and clear records
•    Knowledge of local safeguarding policies and procedures
•    Good communication skills
•    Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation
•    Car owner/driver
