HR Operations Manager – 9 Months Fixed Term Maternity Contract - £37,000 - £42,000 pro rata dependant upon experience

As HR Operations Manager, you would be responsible for guiding and managing the provision of employee relations for accomplish, ensuring the department provides an effective, legally compliant, and professional service. With responsibility for the employment advice, reward and recognition strategies, processes and metrics which are supportive of the business needs, you will need to have a wide range of experience.

As HR Operations Manager, you will:

  • Update HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation changes and employment best practice
  • Maintain overview of all ER cases across the employee relations team providing advice and guidance on appropriate management of cases whilst leading on complex cases, supporting the HR Business Partners with any tribunal cases that arise
  • Support and coach managers with short term absence ensuring the Bradford Factor process is followed
  • Ensure the HR Advice team provide appropriate advice, guidance, and support to Managers in the effective use of all HR policies and with any formal meetings relating to disciplinary, grievance, absence management and family friendly policies
  • Provide training to managers where required to ensure confidence and competence in HR meetings/matters
  • Support HR Director and HR Business Partners with any TUPE arrangements required
  • Liaise with GP’s/Occupational Health as and when required
  • Act as HR Business Partner for the Support Centre staff team
  • Prepare for and participate in pay activity including collecting and analysing market data
  • Effective management of external parties and service providers of any reward and recognition policies
  • Produce HR KPI’s to demonstrate and evaluate the team performance
  • Regularly review policies in use to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, training and guiding managers where necessary

 

We are looking for a highly organised HR Operations Manager that has:

  • Demonstratable, considerable experience in employee relations and reward processes
  • A CIPD level 7 qualification
  • Extensive employment law knowledge
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Experience of managing a high-volume case work
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR within the health and social care sector - preferable
  • Experience of writing new and updating HR policies
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and is a motivational leader
  • A full understanding of confidentiality and a high level of integrity
  • A full UK driving licence - due to the nature of this role, occasional UK travel may be required
